JHS Advice

Welcome to JHS Advice, your trusted partner for health and safety advice in the Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and beyond. We are here to offer expert, sensible, and personal health and safety help to small businesses. Especially those in industries with higher risks, such as construction, agriculture, motor mechanics and manufacturing.

Our goal is to help you follow all the rules, make your workplace safer, and protect your business from financial and reputation damage, all while giving you peace of mind.

Our History and Goals

JHS Health and Safety Consultants started in 2016. In 2023, we became a Ltd Company. This change was made to make our business more official and to prepare us for planned growth. Our aim is to expand by being a key, expert resource for small businesses, making sure they meet strict rules and improve how they work.

Meet Our Director: Joe Endacott

Our company is led by our director, Joe Endacott, a highly qualified and experienced Health and Safety Consultant. Joe holds a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

This is a very well-known qualification that shows a high level of professional knowledge and a clear understanding of the law. This expertise is crucial because UK law says that employers must appoint a “competent person” to help with their health and safety duties. Joe is perfectly qualified for this role.

His extensive experience and top-tier qualifications are the foundation of our services, ensuring you get smart, professional, and practical advice that off-the-shelf software and artificial intelligence simply cannot provide. We believe in offering a personal touch you can’t get from a generic program.

Experience That Matters

Joe brings over 30 years of hands-on experience to our business.

He started in the construction industry, working as a skilled scaffold erector and carrying out building work. He even ran his own scaffolding firm as its director and manager.

This background gives him a unique, practical insight into the real challenges businesses face on the ground.

While his roots are in construction, Joe’s health and safety experience in recent years has expanded to cover a wide range of industries.

He has helped businesses from motor vehicle repair shops and mobile catering companies to large-scale hospital facilities. This broad experience means he understands the unique health and safety needs of different businesses, no matter their size or sector.

Our goal is to provide a simple, high-quality health and safety service. We build a solid foundation that helps you meet your legal obligations and gives your business a professional edge—all without any unnecessary complexity.

Our Approach

No matter what you do, we speak your language and offer health and safety solutions that work in the real world. We believe that investing in health and safety isn’t just a cost; it’s a smart move that gives you a good financial return. We focus on showing the real benefits of our services:
